These pictures were taken during mid August 2005 My 2 youngest son's, my niece and my nephew playing with the dogs in their yard.
Below are pictures of my son and another area the Springer's have claimed as their own!

We are currently fencing off yet another large area in the meadow directly below this yard....
~pictured above~
I am so excited!!! As Springer's can never have enough room! All doggie areas are RIGHT next to the house, making it nice for me as I am in and out 100 times a day! Also that way I can see them out any window of the house as well as hear what they are up to!
Here is one of our many deer friends coming to visit he is just but 5 feet away from the dogs. He is in the meadow that we are putting up the new fence in! Too cool!
We have tons of wildlife visitors that come right into our driveway Bears, Wild Turkeys, Mountain Grouse, and Deer; recently we have seen some Pheasant first time in 6 years. I have never seen an elk in the yard YET? The Bears and Deer don't ever mess with the dogs and the dogs leave them alone we all live in Harmony!
I only see the Turkeys in the EARLY morning and I am sure if one of the dogs were out of the yard
the chase would be on.
OUR OUTSIDE DOGGY AREA'S in 2005
Meet my WONDERFUL dogs in THEIR yard.
I gave up years ago ACTUALLY trying to grow real grass and flowers were the doggies play!  When we first moved here I was a landscaping fool I laid roll of Sod after Sod planted bush after bush. And most of it is all gone the grass has disappeared into the mountain clay and the pups have chewed the shrubs to the ground. The dogs have claimed it ALL now as their own! What makes them happy makes me happy! Beings that gardening is another passion of mine I have just relocated my gardens, trees, shrubs and ponds~ out of reach of puppy paws! And every year I blindly replant grass in hopes it will survive. MY hubby told me it couldn't be done! ~Flowers and Doggies~ Ha, I proved him wrong!  Years later in our beautiful mountain wonderland and both the gardens and doggies are flourishing!
