Hi Deanna.
Just wanted to update you on Barney & Tessie. They are now two years old. Tessie is 38lbs, in weight, Barney is 82lbs in weight, but the vet says he is solid, not fat. I remember you said his father was big, and that Tessie and Barney were half brother and sister. I can't remember their parents though. How big did Barney's dad get? They are brilliant dogs. Except trouble is still Barney's middle name. This dog, you can go into any room, and shut the door. He will open the door. He knows what to do to open them. Also he can reach all countertops. If he can't reach something, he just uses his paws to hook the item, be it food or whatever. Smart he is. When people come to the front door, Eric will put the dogs out in the yard, but Barney unlatches the back gate, then walks round the front, and knocks on the front door. He doesn't try to run away, just is nosey to see who is here. We call him the lovable rogue. Tessie is so quiet, she just loves being cuddled. She loves to play with the two guy dogs. Both dogs love Monty our Border Collie. He plays with them, all day, then at night he settles them down for the evening. He licks both to death at night, then they all go to sleep on our king size bed. We inevitably hear massive snoring all night, which is Barney. We get him checked out at the vet regularly, as he has arthritis, being so big, but he gets painkillers only if he needs them. We would not be without any of the dogs. They give us unconditional love, we give them ours. Loyalty and dedication are primary to these dogs, and they are so gentle with children. I would advise any person to consider your breeds. Thank you all for our dogs. Love Eric & Mary, Onalaska, WA

Hi Deanna!
I just wanted to send you a few pictures from your annual family vacation. Daisy is a beautiful girl (Remmie and Hunter puppy March 2004). After reading your website and viewing the great pictures I wanted to show some of the other, Remmie and Hunter pup owners, our Daisy. We love her so much, she fits perfectly in with our busy California family. If we are not camping at the beach, we are camping in the mountains or the desert. Everyone is amazed at how adventurous Daisy is. She went for waverunner rides this year. She is known for running along side the motorcycle. We have clocked her at 25 miles an hour. She loves to run I will send you pictures of her with puppies if we are lucky. Thank you for all the dedication and love you give your puppies before they come home to their new homes.
Forever grateful,
Jim, Deanna, Garrett, Grant, Morgan, and Daisy
Hi Deanna,
Hope things are well with you and your family!
I'm attaching a new photo of Daisy, taken this week. She's just over 6 months now, and GORGEOUS!! She's starting to settle down from the "puppy crazies" and is going to be a marvelous dog. Smart, snuggly, and oh so sweet! She still has the bit of attitude and stubbornness I enjoy, and tries to outwit me to get her own way, but I'm usually a step ahead of her.... so far... lol. She moves on to Level 2 of her training this month and I think she'll do well.
Are you planning any Clummingers this year? I'd sure like to have one, but it's not possible to have a 3rd dog here. Daisy would love a partner... my 12 y/o Springer is not at all interested in the rough-n-tumble play that Daisy likes, so another "youngster" would be nice for her. But not at this time. :(
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Kathy

Deanna,
I've been wanting to email you for some time now. I got 2 Springers from you about 4 years ago and I named them Maggie and Molly. They were from the last litter of Dreamer & Honeymoon......
Anyway, I just wanted to write to you and tell you they are doing wonderful, and I love them to pieces. I can't believe they are over 4 years old aready! My babies are all grown up!
Here are some recent pictures of them. The first ones were taken over the 4th of July. We were in the Livingston parade, representing the Stafford Animal Shelter, were I work. The theme of the parade was "pirates in paradise" so me and the girls were dressed to play the part...bandanas and all. The pool pictures are of Maggie swimming at the recent "Bark in the Park" fundraiser we have each year. I entered her in the fastest swimmer contest since she loves water so much. (Actually, they both do!) She didn't win, but she was definitely one of the top swimmers, and put on quite a performance. She'll do ANYTHING for a stick!
Thanks again for raising such awesome springers. I get so many compliments on them whenever I take them out in public....which is a lot!

Hey Deanna, We are having tons of fun with Moose he really enjoys to swim. We took him to the beach the other day and he loved it, he also enjoys the lake and river where he swims for hours and his two best buddies coco and rocky. Moose is so funny every day he does something to make us laugh. We are really enjoying him thanks soo much.
Dear Deanna,
House is doing Great! He was shy for a couple hours, but then he was a puppy. He did wesome in the car. We stopped every 1 hour and a 1/2. And so far not one accident. He fits in so beautifally with our entire family that it is truly an amazing thing. He loves his yard. Also has made himself at home to his new toy box. Thankyou so much for helping create such great babies!

Hi Deanna:
you might enjoy a photo of Missy (we call her Missy, short for Mischief) and her pal Annie. We were a little worried how Annie would take to Missy but they are best of pals. We start puppy obedience soon though she is already doing very well with house breaking and Lee has been working with her on a sit/stay and recall, as well as fetching. She does really good with all of them, particularly considering her age. She's all energy and just a bright, sweet puppy.
Hope the attached photos (2) come through okay.
Best wishes
Betty
Hi Deanna and family--
We just wanted to give you a quick update on little miss Emma. She is so sweet and so spoiled because of her wonderful personality. She most definitely thinks she is just one of the kids: playing soccer outside, and getting upset with the kids inside when their attention is diverted to anything but her! You were right about her litter: she is a little goofball, frequently giving us her "frog leg" pose and chasing almost anything that flies; we are thoroughly entertained by her every day. She is the best possible addition to our family that we could have ever imagined. Thanks for all you do . . . we'll keep you updated.

Hi Deanna,
Just a note to send a new photo of Daisy, taken early yesterday morning. Isn't she beautiful?? (It's about the only time that she's sitting quietly, tho. She's a very busy" pup most of the dayl!! haha.)
She's now 3 1/2 months old, 21 pounds, growing like a weed, and just a marvelous little girly! She was completely house trained just three weeks after I brought her home. I was amazed!
We go to puppy school now and she's just soooo smart I can't believe it! She has learned all of her tasks in just a few tries, and loves training! (It takes ME longer to learn the tasks and commands than for her to pick them up!! LOL)
She retrieves her football and returns it to me without having been taught to do so... I'm guessing that's her field instincts. ???!!
Oh my gosh, I could go on and on about this little Daisy Girl... but suffice it to say she is just gorgeous, and I just love her so much!! What a wonderful addition to my life!!
I give her an extra smooch every night when I put her into her crate at bedtime, and tell her it's from her "Grandma" Deanna who loves her too!! :)
Hope things are going well for you, your family, and all of the beautiful Springers, and that you're having a GREAT summer!! Wish I had that creek nearby!! :)
Take care, Kathy
Deanna - I took a few pictures of the baby this weekend and thought you would enjoy. The little green bear in a few is his favorite toy; I call it his "baby". I had a blue one for him when he came home from the airport and it seemed the only toy he refused to chew. The blue one eventually lost an ear and I was always afraid that if something
happened to it I wouldn't be able to find a new one. Thus, the green/yellow was born. Now he has two! One or the other goes everywhere with him from my parents to road trips to doggy day camp to bed, etc. It's the baby and his green blanket he came home with that make for the perfect night's rest.
Anyway - enjoy! He's a mischievous little rascal - exactly what I wanted! So adorable and getting so good and so sweet. Winston is MYbaby!
Enjoy and tell all we said hello.
Lauren
Hi Jim and Deanna,
We just wanted to tell you how much we love Snapple (well, renamed Mayze) Mayze must be one of the most beautiful puppies I have ever seen! She has settled in really well with our other springers, horses ,cats and kids. We run a summer riding camp during the summer, and beleive me, Mazye is well socialized and loved. Will keep you posted, Take Care. Bekki
Hi Deanna,
Our two-Mattie and Major are SUCH best friends, even though Mattie is sooooo much bigger than he. We so enjoy the antics of the two of them. We have had them to the lake twice more. Major LOVES the water. He even splashes like a little kid. We LOVE our mismatched dogs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your new puppies are irresistible, but I can't have more than two!!!
Hi Deanne,
Flyer is soooo cute, we are mad about him. He has adapted so well, as if he has been here forever. Attached are pics.

Hello Deanna-
I just wanted to pass along a photo of our Libby (from Rainy and River Christmas 2006), so you could see how beautiful she is becoming. We just love her so much. Here is a couple of photos of her first time eating peanut butter!
Thank you again so much. Libby went boating and swimming for the first time on the 4th and she was truly the happiest puppy in the world. If you ever have anyone that is looking for a reference - they are welcomed to contact us!
Warm Regards,
Stacey and Dana
I just couldn't resist sending you a couple of boating photos. Here she is after swimming and getting some much needed rest. It was well over 100 degrees even though in the photos she looks like she is cold!
She attends Doggie Day care and loves it so much. She just can't wait to get inside the doors and play with all of those other puppies. We get so many compliments on how beautiful she is.
Thank you so much for all you do! We just love her so much.

Hi, well Duke is almost a year old and we haven't sent a picture so I am sending one of the most recent, I think it was taken a few months ago, but he still looks the same. I think he is done growing. He only weighs about 50lbs if he is lucky. I have several other pictures but they are all sitting or standing on the couch mostly, the recent ones anyway. Its hard to take a picture of him outside because the camera is never handy. Schad and I have him on our phones. Schad has a good one of him outside. We love him very much. He is pretty good most of the time. Very smart. When he wants to listen. Loves to play ball. He has a soccer ball that he likes to attack with a growl and carry around and have you kick it so he can go get it and then play keep away. He also has tennis balls he likes to jump up in the air to catch. Our groomer loves him, she comes out of the store to greet him when she sees us in the parking lot. We got him fixed and chipped, but he still has a little leg hound in him. Ha Ha. He is our baby. Always in one of our laps. Well I'm sure you are busy so I'll let you go, just thought I should give you an update after almost a year. Sorry it took so long.

Hi Deanna,
Striker loves to run out in the field and take long walks in the woods. He has found 3 antler sheds on his walks. He is almost 8 months old and weighs 47 lbs. Cant wait for hunting season.

Hi Deanna & Jim,
We had a good trip back to Washington today, and my sweet little girly did very well considering the long hours she had to be cooped up in the car. I did end up putting her in the crate and keeping her there, because she just wanted to be all over... I really underestimated her level of activity already.... lol...!! She would sleep for about 2 hours before raising a ruckus... she definitely has a set of lungs, and tried out every howl and yap she can make to let it be known that she needed to get out for awhile. So, we'd stop at the next rest area to piddle, drink, play or eat as needed, and then head out again.
She's sleeping soundly on the floor beside me after checking out her new big yard and toys, and seems happy with it all. Now I just have to decide what her name will be!! :)
I'll keep you posted and send photos as she changes and grows... she is really going to be gorgeous!! Thanks again to you (and Rainy and Saddle) for such a beautiful little girl!! :) Kathy
No daisies left in this pot... hmmmm... I wonder why?? :)
Kathy
Just wanted you to know that Flower arrived safe and sound and is fast asleep now. She is an amazing puppy. She walked up and down our multi-level deck stairs and decided to march up the stairs to be with the "big dogs". So after eating and playing for a bit she was ready to be put down for a nice nap. Hopefully she will sleep through the night. We will send you the pictures once we get them downloaded.
Thanks so much!
Donna
She was far more relaxed than the other two. Right away Hunter decided he was going to be "mama" again, and Bailey warmed up to her the next morning (losing baby status must have been a blow to her) But the next day they all jumped in our waterfall fountain, and I nearly had a heart attack until I heard an excited puppy bark and saw her run around and jump in again!
Smart young lady.....and nothing seems to bother her. We are calling her Maycie now She loves getting into the waterfall fountain and the first one is her getting out after a quick dog paddle across.Second pic is her at my feet after getting slobbered over by Hunter.

Hi Deanna,
I just wanted to take a minute to tell you how HAPPY I am with my new baby girl. She is VERY smart....!
I have been on the couch with her sleeping at night for pregnant momma kitty has my bedroom and dont want to bring new pup in just yet.....Ruby has not made a mess yet in the house. Hi There,Nan here,
I just thought you'd like to see my kids all grown up; they are even more beautiful and sweet than when you sent them to me in December 2006.
They really are wonderful. You did a fantastic breeding job. THANK YOU.

Hello there. This is John and Crystal from California. We purchased Boo about 3 weeks ago. We changed his name to YU. (Like I love you or Hay you). He was been a pleasure and brings so much joy to our lives. He already is asking to go to the bathroom outside and we have not had many accidents in the house. Springer's are just the perfect breed. We all started puppy training class last Sunday and we are going again tomorrow. We want to maximize his potential. He is very smart and a character. He loves to play and of course chew on everything. We took him to the lake last week for the first time and thought we would teach him to swim, but he charged in all on his own. He went under and came swimming back to land. He is our perfect companion. We just want to thank you for breeding a beautiful, intelligent breed. Thank You .
Sincerely John, Crystal and YU
Hi Deanna,
Thought you would appreciate Bailey and Maycie in a little game of tug of war. Bailey has made a point or two of establishing dominancy but now that its settled (at least in Bailey's mind) its time for play
Donna
Hope you had good Holidays. It was nice to see another litter of hybrids on your web site. Oh how we love Dexter. He is so mellow and loving. I would tell anyone who wasn't sure about a Springer to get a Cluminger. Bear is just a sweetheart. I am sending pictures of the group left to right, it's Dexter, Bear, Miles, and the little guy is Elton, our pound puppy. Miles, at 8 months, is 2 inches taller than Dexter and outweighs him by pounds. He is still a "puppy", but such a handsome guy. He will be as good looking as his dad, River, but with Mama Savannah's markings. He will have a great head when he is finally matured. I am sending a group picture.
I am at work and it is slow and it is totally boring today. I want to be at home with my babies. All four of them sleep on the bed with me and they all have their special spots. When I say it's time for bed, they line up for kisses, and then curl up where they belong. Thanks for sharing your neat and wonderful dogs with us. We love them all dearly, even though Miles "ate" our couch, probably with Dexter's help. It's their house, isn't it?

Hi Deanna,
Long overdue, but we wanted to send along some pictures of Berkley "Patrick" to you and your family. He is now 7 months old and is full of energy!!!! As you can see, we received our first snow storm in the Northeast and he loves it! He is getting along well with our older dog, Tipper and keeping him young! Berkley makes us laugh and gives us much joy! Some days, we wish we had his energy!
Thank you for the gift of Berkley in our lives. He truly is a blessing.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season!
Charlie & Lori
Deanna,
Here's a recent picture of Maggie who turns 3 yr next month. Also, a pilot showed up at our door last summer to sell me a picture of our yard. Thought you'd like to see where Fridgeberrie is going to be chasing squirrels and geese (and Maggie) for the rest of her life.
The only time Maggie is on a leash is when we go to the vet. We took her to a kennel once when we went on a short vacation and they didn't want to let her go.
Regards,
Jim
Deanna & Jim,
The pup finally arrived at her new home at 12:30 this morning. She's now been crashed for some time in her play pen with a view (photo attached).
We decided the best way to get both dogs comfortable with one another was to leave the crate in the attic and put Phoebe in full view of Maggie in our den. Believe it or not, these play pens so far work great, but this is the first time we've tried it, so we'll let you know.
Thanks again for your efforts to get her out to Chicago. I'll be sending a payment shortly for the shipping and we'll keep you posted on her progress in the next few weeks.
Merry Christmas!
Best regards,
Jim & Deb
Dear Deanna,
Is he not cute with his outfit?

Hello Deanna,
Just a quick note to let you know how fast Montana Jazz is growing and how he has enjoyed his travels in the motorhome. We've attached a couple of pictures of his first trip in the motorhome one is with all his toys; another is sound asleep after a busy day and the final is on the boardwalk at the beach waiting for the Florida sunset.
Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!
Kind regards,
Jack, Mary Ann and Montana Jazz
Hello Deanna,
This is Karl from CT. I thought I would send some pictures of Sky. She has gone out hunting a few times and has done a great job. There are some pictures of her and her first bird. Enjoy! Happy Holidays from CT!
Karl
Deanna,
Can't believe it has been a year since we got our "puppy from you!
Jesse renamed her Tosha, her registered name is Tosha Jesse's Girl. Since we were not planning on breeding her and we got her spayed we didn't use her linage name.
Tosha has turned out to be such a great dog, and a wonderful addition to our family. She has the hunting instinct so strongly, and nothing makes her happier than to go get the birds!! When she is not hunting she is playing with her sister Sadie or sleeping on the couch.
I just wanted to touch base and say Thanks again for raising such great dogs, and to send along a picture of our Tosha.
Best wishes for the holidays.
Mary Ann and Jesse
